Pumba Water Lodge

Guests can enjoy watching the game drinking and splashing around, from the 12 stone-walled, thatched, waterfront cottages that open onto a private timber deck, consisting of an outdoor shower and plunge pool that overlooks the Kariega Lake. Msenge Bush Lodge

The Msenge Bush Lodge consists of 11 luxury thatched chalets that glass enclosed. The glass enclosures create the atmosphere are being apart or one with nature with the natural flow into the African bushveld.

The chalets boast luxury bathrooms with spectacular views and luxurious bedrooms that open onto private timber decks which feature both a plunge pool and outdoor shower.

Guests can head up to the main lodge where they can enjoy delicious and gourmet cuisine. In addition, guests can unwind and relax in the spacious and comfortable lounge or on the main deck where animals can be seen grazing on the grassy plain.

Directions

From the Port Elizabeth Airport

  •     As you exit the airport building, turn left into Allistair Millar Drive.
  •     At the traffic light intersection, turn right into Heugh Road. Continue down Heugh Road until you see the harbour and the sea directly in front of you.
  •     At the main traffic light intersection at the bottom of Walmer Boulevard (Heugh Road) turn left, taking the highway, which is on the seaward side. Continue along the highway, which will take you onto the N2 in the direction of Grahamstown.
  •     Travel along the N2 in the direction of Grahamstown for 105 km. Take the Alicedale turnoff towards the left and follow the signs to Pumba Private Game Reserve.

From Port Elizabeth

  •     Travel along the N2 in the direction of Grahamstown for 105 km.
  •     Take the Alicedale turnoff towards the left and follow the signs to Pumba Private Game Reserve.

From Grahamstown (N2 Sunshine Coast / Durban)

  •     Travel along the N2 in the direction of Port Elizabeth for 20 km.
  •     Take the Alicedale turnoff towards the right and follow the signs to Pumba Private Game Reserve.
