The Bukela Game Lodge is a 5-star lodge located in the Amakhala Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape.
The lodge has four thatched suites available which are individually decorated with African-styled décor. The one suite is exclusively for honeymooners and promises romance at it’s best for the newly-weds.
At the main lodge, a dining area and sitting area with a fireplace are available for use by the guests. A library and outdoor swimming pool for a quick dip and refreshing swim is available for use at the lodge.
Before heading out on a game drive, refreshments are provided including coffee, tea and fruit juice as well as 2 savoury pastries. Additional snacks are provided while on the game drive itself.

A media and library invite guests for reading while the large wooden swimming pool deck which overlooks a small dam which is frequented by Buffalo welcomes guests for relaxation and game viewing.
Experience outdoor boma dinners under an Afrikan sky. Dinners are served with freshly made salads, hot veggies and the braaied (barbequed) meat.
Guests can enjoy the sounds of African rhythmic drums while enjoying the freshly prepared bush breakfasts ad lovely picnics. A more quiet dining experience or setting can be arranged for those looking to relax and enjoy the sounds of the bush.
