About Witwater Safari Lodge & Spa

The Witwater Safari Lodge is nestled in the spectacular Waterberg area, and is a five-star luxury lodge. One of the key attractions of the Waterberg is its malaria-free status. The
lodge is set on the Phalala River bank. This river's waters run white, hence the naming of the area "Witwater" ("white water").

The chic elegance of the lodge is pervasive in all the elements of the accommodation. Natural light floods the building, creating a comfortable, natural, hospitable environment. Grace is refined to the ultimate degree at Witwater Safari Lodge, and guarantees an experience that will become a warm memory.

One of the main attractions of the Witwater Safari Lodge is the Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino that frequently make their appearance at the lodge. Witwater is a conservation area, as well as a sanctuary to the newly-introduced Cheetah. Other resident wildlife includes the Brown Hyena, Serval, Giraffe, Warthog, Porcupine, Gemsbok, Kudu, Eland and Impala, among others.

Accommodation

Main Lodge

The Main Lodge is made up of 8 luxury double lodge rooms.

Each of these is equipped with an en-suite bathroom, and spectacular views of the river and mountains from their balconies. Each luxury room in the Main Lodge has been designed with comfort and opulence in mind. Amenities include air-conditioning and a television with DSTV.

Luxury Tented Accommodation

East African styled free-standing tents under thatch are privately positioned on quaint wooden walkways right in the midst of natural wildlife and landscape. Despite this proximity to nature, luxury is never negotiated on.

These tents are equipped with an en-suite bathroom with either a stylish Spa Bath or Steam Shower. Wooden decks outside the tents provide the perfect venue for an African sundowner, while watching the Phalala River ebb and flow along its banks.

True dining delights await the discerning Witwater guests. Diners are invited to partake of a Breakfast in the Bush, Silver Service Fine Dining, or a traditional braai (barbecue) in the Boma, while experiencing traditional South African fare.
