About Tarn Country House

Tarn Country House is a sanctuary of peace and serenity from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is situated along the Garden Route in the Whiskey Creek Nature Reserve. This prime positioning between Plettenberg Bay and Nature's Valley means that it is surrounded by the vast Outeniqua Mountains, the Tsitsikamma Reserve and the stunning warm waters of the Indian Ocean.

Accommodation

Tarn Country House is equipped with 8 sizeable rooms, each stylishly furnished to ensure a sense of cosy comfort in an atmosphere of elegance and luxury. There are two rooms with twin beds, three with queen-size beds and three with king-size beds. Standard facilities and amenities include a tea- and coffee station, en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, heater, fan and private entrance.

Guests receive a complimentary drink upon arrival and may enjoy the comfort of the garden furniture outside. All rooms boast gorgeous views.

The Tarn Country House is situated close to many tourist facilities. Therefore, a hearty breakfast is essential if guests are to be equipped for a day spent exploring. Breakfasts are served on the patio, promising awe-inspiring views of the mountains, forest and garden.

Location

From Cape Town, drive along the N2 all the way past Plettenberg Bay. Turn left at the second sign for the Tarn Country House, which will appear on the left-hand side of the road.

From Port Elizabeth, continue along the N2, through the Tsitsikamma Toll Gate. Tarn Country House is approximately 20km further. Turn right at the second Tarn Country House sign.
