We are constantly reminded of the impact that human beings have on our beautiful environment. Crystal Towers Hotel & Spa is committed to counteracting these negative influences and working hard to ensure that we make as positive a contribution as possible. We have done this by implementing several policies aimed at promoting sustainability and responsibility.
The following commitments have been made in an ongoing effort to 'green' the hotel. Of course, these also work well in creating a luxurious and inviting space for the guests:
" All guest supplies are bought in bulk, effectively reducing the use of fuel. " All lights, air-conditioning units and computers are switched off at the close of business, whenever possible. " Live plants will be placed in the offices of the hotel. These will be plants specifically chosen for their indoor nature, their need for minimal light and the lack of demand for excessive watering and care. " The hotel will only print electronic documents when absolutely essential. In that case, recycled paper will be used. " Only environmentally friendly cleaning products are used. " Kitchens, offices and public areas are equipped with recycling bins. " Waste is sorted on the site of the hotel to ensure that it is disposed of correctly and efficiently. " The worm farm in the waste is designed to reduce the volume of such waste that gets sent to the landfills.
