Dining

The Famous Butcher's Grill restaurant at this popular hotel has won several awards and specialises in top-class South African steaks. It is adjacent to the reception and successfully combines a friendly atmosphere with quality and style. While diners sample some of the country's best meats, they are able to immerse themselves in Cape Town culture, surrounded by historical pictures of the Mother City and some of its famous musicians. In addition, a live band is present every night, setting the mood for a fun and eventful evening. The varied menu is complemented by the equally diverse wine list, with flavours and aromas to suit ever dish and palate. While The Famous Butcher's Grill is a favourite nightspot, it is also open on weekdays for lunch. Functions are best enjoyed in the enclosed smoking area, allowing for a measure of privacy.
