The Burning Shore Hotel, located in the Namibia on the edge of one of the world's largest sand dune, offers comfortable accommodation whereby guests can experience the stark beauty of this unique dessert area as well as the ever stretching Atlantic Ocean.

The hotel had the opportunity of having a famous Hollywood couple as guests at the hotel, namely Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt,
who have a love for Namibia.

The 60 seater restaurant at The Burning Shore Hotel is open for Breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves a delicious a la carte menu. Alfresco dining is available on the deck which also offers direct access to the beach. A cocktail bar, the Pleasure Cocktail Bar, is available where guests can enjoy a drink before dinner or a
nightcap while admiring the views. The fireplace in the private lounge and bar
make for a cozy retreat.

Location

The hotel itself is located on Long Beach which can be found between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. The hotel is approximately 15km from each town / airport.

Directions
  • Take C14 to Walvis Bay
  • Follow directional signage to Swakopmund
  • After 15kms, turn left at Longbeach turn-off
  • Follow Burning Shore signage to 4th Street
